Bill Claypool began cooking professionally at the age of 16 and in the kitchens at various operations including catering companies, quick service and full-service restaurants both corporate and privately-owned, honing his skills and broadening his experience as a cook. In 1986, Bill was accepted to the Culinary Institute of America, graduating in 1988. He followed this with a career in hotels, local Nashville restaurants and more recently Vanderbilt University where he served as Assistant Director/Executive Chef of Campus Dining. Joining TNFP in September of 2018, Bill is excited about leading TNFP in its evolution as we move into our new West Nashville location just a few blocks from his home. When he’s not cooking or eating, Bill enjoys working in his shop, spending time with friends and family and exploring Middle Tennessee on the back of his motorcycle.
