David has lived in Nashville for over thirty years. After studying art in high school and obtaining an associate degree in graphic design from Nossi College of Art, David spent much of his career working as a custom picture framer. After developing a self-described obsession with cooking ten years ago, David began volunteering with The Nashville Food Project in the summer of 2016 where his appreciation for the value of quality food and its communal properties grew even more. In 2017, he joined our staff as Meals Coordinator in our St. Luke's Community House Kitchen. There he loves working with what he calls "some of the brightest and creative minds of our time." In his free time, David enjoys cooking at home for his wife and daughter, connecting with friends and family, and when the rare occasion presents itself, hiking and photography.
