From intern to full-time staff member, Katie Duiven is working what she calls her “dream job,” as it intersects her major and minor in college. She is a 2016 graduate from Belmont University, with a BA in Social Entrepreneurship and a minor in Nutrition. She loves that the nature of this work is all about how food is a powerful tool that brings people together, nourishing both bodies and communities. She is originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan, but is proud to have called Nashville home for the last 3 years. When she's not in the prep room or kitchen, you can find her spending time with friends, enjoying the outdoors, leading birthday parties at Climb Nashville, and soaking up the Nashville music scene.
