The Nashville Food Project embraces a vision of vibrant community food security in which everyone in Nashville has access to the food they want and need through a just and sustainable food system. In working towards that future, The Nashville Food Project has launched a $5 million capital campaign to build a new headquarters from which we will continue to grow and adapt to our community's food system needs.

The goals of this project are:

Grow Existing Programs to Meet Community Needs
The Nashville Food Project currently operates its primary kitchen and all garden sites at capacity. An efficiently designed commercial kitchen and community farm site will allow us to share more meals, support more growers and rescue more food from our city’s waste stream.

Expand Educational Programs in Response to Community Needs
The Nashville Food Project hopes to use its culinary and agricultural expertise to support the changing needs of Nashville’s most vulnerable communities. With proper facilities and equipment, we can grow our educational and incubator programs to meet the nutritional, agricultural and workforce development needs in our city.

Nourish Our Neighbors
The Nashville Food Project plans to strengthen community connections in West Nashville by offering a regular, on-site meal. This will deepen our relationships with the neighborhood surrounding both of our kitchens and our community garden.
