There is enough when we work together

If the federal government shutdown continues, federal food aid may not be distributed on November 1. The Tennessee Department of Human Services has also warned that SNAP benefits may be delayed. Many of our neighbors are facing deep uncertainty about how they will afford food, medicine, and other essentials.

We are increasing our food recovery efforts and working closely with partners across the city so our neighbors continue to receive nourishing meals. We hold fast to a simple truth. There is enough. When we work together, we can get good food to the people who need it most.

    • Whole wheat pasta (penne, rigatoni, or farfalle preferred)

    • Unseasoned black beans
