Raised in Nashville, Esperanza grew up surrounded by the stories, traditions, and communities that now inspire her creative work. Her love for art and design eventually led her into marketing and communications, where she discovered a passion for using storytelling as a tool to strengthen community.
She now applies that passion at The Nashville Food Project, which she joined in the fall of 2025 as the Marketing and Communications Manager, to advance food justice.
Esperanza (Espi) has spent the last several years building her career at the intersection of design and nonprofit communications, helping organizations connect with diverse audiences through authentic storytelling, brand identity, and visual strategy. She is excited to continue shaping narratives that highlight dignity, collaboration, and the power of food to bring people together.
Outside of work, Esperanza is a practicing artist and designer. She enjoys painting, illustration, exploring Nashville’s food and arts scene, and spending time outdoors with family and friends.
