Events & Sponsorships

At The Nashville Food Project, we believe food is more than fuel. It is a way we practice hospitality, build relationships, and work toward a more just and sustainable food system. When local businesses and brands partner with us through cause marketing, they help turn everyday transactions into meaningful acts of nourishment and community care.

Cause marketing and third-party partnerships with The Nashville Food Project invite your customers, employees, and community into a shared story of care. Together, we grow, cook, and share nourishing food while strengthening Nashville’s capacity to care for one another.

Community Meals

We know that good food alone cannot solve hunger, health disparities, poverty, or isolation. That’s why our Community Meals program is built around partnership.

By working together, we can respond more holistically to the needs of our neighbors and strengthen the networks of care already rooted within our community.

Philanthropic Ventures

It takes a community to nourish a community.

We are deeply grateful to the foundations, congregations, corporate partners, and community supporters whose generosity helps make our work possible. Their support allows The Nashville Food Project to continue growing, cooking, and sharing nourishing food across Nashville while building a more connected and sustainable food system.

Through these partnerships, we are able to expand access to fresh food, strengthen community relationships, support local growers, and respond to the evolving needs of our neighbors with care and dignity.

We are honored to work alongside individuals and organizations who believe, as we do, that everyone deserves access to the food they want and need.

Community Farms & Orchards

The Nashville Food Project provides backbone support including tools, training, volunteers, and resources so that garden leaders can focus on growing food and cultivating community. Rental plots are provided at low cost and community harvests are shared freely or at low cost, helping ensure that all neighborhoods have access to fresh, nourishing produce.

Each garden is cared for by volunteer garden stewards, with ongoing support and resources provided by The Nashville Food Project. Together, these stewards help ensure gardens remain productive, welcoming, and rooted in community care.

Catering

The Nashville Food Project’s catering program provides high-quality, made-from-scratch meals for private and corporate events. All revenue generated from catering directly supports our mission to cultivate community and alleviate food insecurity in our city. You can see what delicious options we have available by viewing our full Catering Menu.

Food Recovery

In addition to financial contributions, The Nashville Food Project welcomes in-kind donations of food items that can be used as ingredients in nutritious meals. Whether you’d like to share fresh produce from your garden or excess food from licensed caterers, we’d love to connect with you!

If you’re with a local farm, you can click here to find more ways to get involved.

We are currently accepting donations by appointment only. When you’re ready to donate, contact David Frease at davidf@thenashvillefoodproject.org or (615) 460-0172 to coordinate. If possible, be ready to answer the questions below so we can plan how the items will fit into our menus.
